The Time of Your Life: This informational presentation by Reid Health Alliance will bring awareness to important decisions you need to consider as you age. Topics like when to stop driving, when to stay in your home, and when to move. This presentation is Wednesday, June 12 at 2 p.m.

Vision Screenings: Does your vision make completing tasks a challenge? The Ohio affiliate, Prevent Blindness may be able to help you with eyeglasses at no cost to you. There will be a Free open vision screening clinic at the senior activities center on June 19 between 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.noon. A presentation on the State of Ohio’s Independent Living Older Blind Program will be held at 10:30-11 a.m., same day and location.

Matter of Balance: Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Mondays, July 8 to August 26 from 10 a.m. to noon. Free class. Pre-registration a must. Senior Prom: A “Waltz Down Memory Lane.” Join us June 15 from 6-9 p.m., for Senior Prom featuring The Monarch Band, light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments served. $7 single, $12 couples at The Grange — get your tickets at the senior activities center.

Remembering the Baby Boomer Years: Join us for a morning of reminiscing about the memorable decades of the Baby boomers, the 40s, 50s, & 60s. Jonathan Carl with Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care will take you down memory lane and share news clips, fashion, music, movies, the arts, television shows and commercials and much, much more! Tuesday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at the Senior Activities Center.

Breakout Games: Escape rooms are delightfully fun, but they are also quite tricky and can be very hard, especially for first timers. A team of 4-6 people assemble inside a theme room, and then the fun begins, a game master explains the challenge and exits the room. You and your teammates must discover clues and solve a mystery to escape a “locked” room within a time frame. Afterwards, lunch at Marion’s Pizza. This trip takes place Wednesday, Sept. 25. “Hairspray” at Beef & Boards: This musical comedy is set in 1960s Baltimore, with a dance-loving teen, Tracy Turnblad auditioning for a spot on “The Corny Collins Show.” Upon winning, she becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun, and fashion. After the show, we will eat at the buffet at Beef & Boards.

Sumner County, Tennessee: Down home on the farm for 4 days and 3 nights, Sept. 24-27. There is plenty to do and see on this trip, such as the Johnny Cash film presentation, visiting Long Hollow Gardens and other tours like Ronnie McDowell’s Strawberry Manor, wine tasting and so much more. Costs are $609 per member and $659 per non-member.
