Stretching Classes: Anytime Fitness will be here beginning July 10, offering stretching classes! This is an ongoing *free* class from 11-11:30 a.m.

Flag Retirement Ceremony: Friday, July 12, we will be cooking out from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Ben Thaeler, District Director for the Office of Congressman Warren Davidson will speak at 1 p.m. At 2 p.m. we will commence with the Flag Retirement Ceremony. Bring your tattered flags to us before 2 p.m. that day. We are partnering with Daughters of the American Revolution Commodore Preble Chapter American Legion Post 215.

Presidential History Book Club: We have a new book club for those interested in history and presidents. They will be meeting at 1 p.m. at the Senior Activities Center on July 18, reading John Adams by David McCullogh.

Reflexology: Beginning July 18, we are offering reflexology at the Senior Activities Center. A great way to relieve stress and tension, improve blood supply, help nature achieve homeostasis and for general relaxation. Call us to make an appointment at 937-456-4947, cost is $40 per person/ per session.

Mobile Clinic: Premier Community Health Mobile Clinic will be at the Senior Activities Center on Wednesday, July 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. They will be providing (for free) your cholesterol/HDL, Blood Glucose, and Hemoglobin A1c numbers. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 1-866-608-3463.

Vision Screening: Prevent Blindness Vision Care Outreach has been rescheduled and will be here Wednesday, July 17 offering FREE open Vision Screening Clinic from 9-10:30 a.m. and 11a.m.-noon. A presentation on the State of Ohio’s Independent Living Older Blind Program will be held at 10:30-11 a.m. To pre-register and learn if you qualify call Stacey at 937-456-4947.

Legal Series: Plan ahead and protect yourself. Pre-register for any or all of these informative classes and learn more about your legal rights, legal resources you can access, ways to handle your legal issue, and more. July 24: Justice for seniors, July 31: Keeping seniors safe, Aug. 7: Health advance directives, Aug. 14: Financial power of attorney, and August 21: Wills and estates. All classes are held at the senior activities center at 2 p.m. This series is brought to you by Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. Call to pre-register, 937-456-4947.

Breakout Games: Escape rooms are delightfully fun, but they are also quite tricky and can be very hard, especially for first timers. A team of 4-6 people assemble inside a theme room, and then the fun begins, a game master explains the challenge and exits the room. You and your teammates must discover clues and solve a mystery to escape a “locked” room within a time frame. Afterward, lunch at Marion’s Pizza. This trip takes place Wednesday, Sept. 25. Spotlight on San Antonio Holiday: Discover San Antonio’s beautiful River Walk, one of the prettiest parts of the city.
