CARROLLTON — On June 17-21, the Twin Valley South Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA chapter attended FFA camp at Camp Muskingum. Ten chapter members were able to attend.
They were able to meet the state officers, a national officer, people from other counties and much more. Camp is located on Leesville Lake in Carrollton and provided boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. They also had many sports like rifle, shotgun, archery, volleyball, fishing, basketball, nine square, softball, tetherball, and kickball.
Chapter members went to several State officer workshops. At the workshops, they talked about leadership skills and what makes a good leader. Ty Higgins from the Ohio Farm Bureau came in as a guest speaker to inspire FFA members to do better in the chapters. Despite the rain, all members had a great time.
