EATON — Preble County Sheriff’s deputies formally charged an Eaton man last week for selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer.

According to Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson, on Wednesday, June 26, Ace Gulley, 41, of Eaton, sold approximately two grams of suspected methamphetamine to the officer.

Gulley was taken into custody and housed in the Preble County Jail, Simpson said in a press release.

On Friday, June 28, Gulley was formally charged in Eaton Municipal Court with one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a 4th degree felony.

At press time Gulley remained in custody in the Preble County Jail awaiting his initial appearance in court.

“Gulley has a lengthy criminal history, including drug trafficking and manufacturing of drugs,” Simpson said.

Preble County Sheriff’s deputies and officers with the Eaton Police Division worked jointly in this investigation, according to Simpson.
