ELDORADO — The Eldorado Activities Committee held a “Day in the Park” on Saturday, July 13, to bring the community together to enjoy the village’s park.

There were vendors and food for those in attendance to enjoy. The morning also included horse and wagon rides being offered.

According to committee member Jill Vaniman, the event was a way to get people to come out to Eldorado’s park and enjoy the camaraderie.

“We’re trying to get people to come to our park. We actually had some kids who came up here with their parents and said they didn’t know we had a park up here. It was worth it, with that,” Vaniman said. “Some people don’t know Eldorado has a park. A lot of our people never get out and move around. We have a beautiful little park and we were trying to get people to come out and come together.”

The committee will be voting on whether it wants to hold this event again in the future, but Vaniman suspects they will try again.
