EATON — Earlier this summer the Eaton Eagle Engineers 4H group provided paint, tools, and labor to paint the Carriage House at the Preble County Historical Society. Members working on the project included Jaxon Roth, Alexia Morgan, Aaliyah Bane, Charlie Roth, and Kolson Houston.

Advisor Harold Niehaus stated, “The members calculated the paint needed for the project and used club funds to purchase what was needed.”

He went on to say “the 4H members worked hard to scrape off the old paint and then wash down the building the first day and when the returned the next week the painted most of the day with brushes to assure a good coat of paint was applied.”
