WEST ALEXANDRIA — From July 10 through July 12, the Twin Valley South Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA officer team went on its annual Officer Retreat. The retreat was held near Sandusky.

During the three day trip, the officers all got to bond more. They took time cooking meals, taking personality tests, planning our chapter Program of Activities (POA) and spent time near the lake.

On the July 11, they spent the afternoon at Cedar Point, riding rides and bonding. They also visited the Marblehead Lighthouse right on the lake. One of the leadership activities was “magic carpet ride” where the officers stood on a table cloth and had to move it from one side of the yard to the other without stepping off. If someone stepped off, they had to close their eyes.

Overall, everyone had a great time and got a lot done.
