Board of Elections meeting

The Preble County Board of Elections will conduct a regular business meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held in the board’s office at 101 E. Main St., Eaton.

PS BOE meeting

The Preble Shawnee Board of Education’s January Organization Meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. The regular January monthly meeting will follow the organizational meeting. The meeting will be held at the Preble Shawnee Board of Education Offices, 124 Bloomfield St., Camden. During the regular meeting, the board will have a public hearing on the 2016-17 school calendar, addressing topics which include but are not limited to: the total number of hours in a school year, length of school day and beginning/end dates of instruction.

CCLSC meeting

The College Corner Local School District Board of Education will conduct its organizational meeting on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 6:00 P.M., with the regular board of education meeting to follow. The meeting will be held in the board of education meeting room at 230 Ramsey Street, College Corner, Ohio.

National Trail BOE Meetings

There will be two Board of Education meetings held at National Trail on Monday, Jan. 11. The first will be an organizational meeting held at 6 p.m. with the regularly scheduled board meeting taking place immediately following.

Both meetings will take place in the National Trail District Office Conference Room at 6940 Oxford-Gettysburg Road in New Paris.

Twin Valley South BOE Meetings

The Twin Valley Community Local School District Board of Education will hold an organizational meeting on Monday, Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. The regularly scheduled meeting will take place immediately following.

Both meetings will be held in the school’s Media Center at 100 Education Drive in West Alexandria.

Meet the candidates

There will be a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m. at Eaton High School. This event is sponsored by the Preble County Republican Party. Everyone is invited.
