Vaccines for Children program changes

As of Jan. 1, Preble County Public Health will no longer be able to provide state purchased vaccine to those individuals covered by commercial insurance policies. The department will continue to vaccinate these individuals but at a higher cost due to having to purchase the vaccine, according to officials. The Preble County Public Health Immunization Clinic is able to bill Anthem, UMR, United Healthcare, Medical Mutual, Medicaid and the Medicaid Managed Care Plans.

Call the Immunization Clinic at 937-472-0087 for more information.
