PREBLE COUNTY – Parker Hannifin Lewisburg will partner with Community Blood Center to host a blood drive Monday, Nov. 18, from 1-4 p.m.

The CBC Bloodmobile will be at 700 W. Cumberland St., Lewisburg.

The Preble County YMCA will partner with Community Blood Center to host a blood drive Thursday, Nov. 21. from 3:30-7:30 p.m. at 450 Washington-Jackson Road, Eaton.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive a knit “blood donor” scarf.

The new blood donor scarf is green, white and red with the CBC blood drop logo. “It comes with that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from helping someone in need,” CBC organizers said.

Many CBC community blood drives now include the opportunity to donate platelets and plasma, which are critical for the treatment of cancer, trauma, transplant, and burn patients.
