WEST ALEXANDRIA — From Oct. 30 through Nov. 2 the Twin Valley South Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) FFA chapter attended the 92nd National FFA Convention.

This year marks the 50th anniversary since women were allowed in the FFA organization. Members attended several sessions and got to walk around the expo center. They had the opportunity to hear author and speaker Bob Goff. The chapter also got to see country artist Brett Young and attend Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo.

Members Haley Back, Chyann Kendel, and Kayla Stiver received their American degree award Saturday morning. Congratulations to Chyann Kendel for being top four in the Nation for her Diversified Livestock proficiency.

This is the first National finalist the chapter has had in their 55 year history.
