LEWISBURG — Chief Richard McGee and the Lewisburg Police Department are expressing gratitude to the Qaunex Foundation for its recent donation to the police department in an effort to assist in the COVID-19 relief.

On Thursday, May 7, the management team from Quanex’s Richmond, Indiana facility presented officers from the Lewisburg Police Department with $10,000 to assist in the LPD’s efforts in the COVID-19 relief. The donation was presented by Human Resource Generalist Brittany Etzler, and Plant Manager Travis Erwin of Quanex Building Products’ Richmond facility.

“On behalf of the entire Lewisburg Police Department, we wish to thank every member of the Quanex Foundation and Quanex Building Products for their support during this challenging time. Their compassion toward community values is an inspiration to everyone!” Chief McGee said in a press release last week.
