PREBLE COUNTY — Overnight restrictions will be in place next week on the Interstate 70/U.S. 127 ramps for pavement repairs.
Throughout the week of June 28, the I-70 exit ramps to U.S. 127 and the U.S. 127 entrance ramps to I-70 will be closed intermittently in either direction for asphalt repairs on the ramps during the overnight hours. The ramps will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. each night and continuing until 10 a.m. the following day, Sunday through Friday, June 28 through July 3.
During periods of closure, westbound I-70 motorists to and from the ramps will be detoured using I-70 and U.S. 40 in Indiana (Exit 156B). Eastbound I-70 traffic will be detoured by way of S.R. 503 and U.S. 40.
In addition to the ramp closures, I-70 will be reduced to one lane in either direction at the interchange, and traffic will be maintained in the passing (left) lane.
