PREBLE COUNTY — A culvert replacement project will take place on Ohio 725 in Preble County next month, requiring a five-day closure of the route.

On Monday, Aug. 10, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Preble County Highway Maintenance Facility will close Ohio 725 between Township Road 209 (Dillman Road) and U.S. 127 in Camden to replace a deteriorated pipe. The project site is located at the 7.59-mile marker, just east of T.R. 1115 (Morton Drive).

The closure will go into effect at approximately 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, and it will remain in place through Friday, Aug. 14, or until all work is completed. Completion of the project will be contingent upon the weather, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of Ohio 732, Camden College Corner Road, and U.S. 127.
