Outling The Register Herald’s election coverage

In early September, The Register-Herald sent questionnaire packets with candidate profile information to candidates in contested races in the upcoming Nov. 2 general election.

This profiles were to be returned by Wednesday, Sept. 29, and will be posted online Saturday, Oct. 9, with an election hub on https://www.registerherald.com that links to information about every contested race, as well as information regarding issues/questions on the upcoming ballot.

Throughout the month of October, in addition to all returned candidate profiles being listed on our website, they will be published in the following Wednesday and Saturday editions of The Register-Herald as the general election date approaches:

Wednesday, Oct. 13

Contested township races in Gasper, Harrison, Israel, Somers and Washington.

Saturday, Oct. 16

National Trail School Board

Tri-County North School Board

New Paris Village Council

Wednesday, Oct. 20

Eaton Municipal Court Judge

Mayor of West Alex

Saturday, Oct. 23

Eaton School Board

Preble Shawnee School Board

Additionally, information about relevant issues/questions on the ballot will be included in the Wednesday, Oct. 27 edition of The Register-Herald, in addition to a recap of races on the ballot.
