ODOT provides weekly project update

PREBLE COUNTY — The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its weekly construction update for Preble County for the week ending April 16.

The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Preble County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. For construction information and statewide information regarding road conditions, visit ODOT on the web at www.Ohgo.com.

Countywide vegetation clearing — At various locations throughout the county. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed during hours of operation.

Countywide guardrail repair — At various locations throughout the county. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed during hours of operation.

Ohio 177 and Ohio 725 paving — On Ohio 177, between the Butler/Preble County line and the Indiana State line, and on Ohio 725, between Indiana and the western corporation limit of the village of Camden. Preliminary work will begin the week of April 11 for preventive maintenance/chip-sealing on both routes. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers, daily from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The project is scheduled to be completed in late summer of 2022.

U.S. 35 pavement repairs — At various locations in both directions along the route. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed during hours of operation.

U.S. 35 — Near Circle Lane, east of Eaton. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed during hours of operation.

Interstate 70 vegetation clearing — At various locations in both directions on I-70. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or traffic cones.
