PREBLE COUNTY — Paving operations are under way on Interstate 70 as part of the major resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation project in Preble County, and the following restrictions will be in place through next week.

Through Wednesday, June 22: Single-lane closures continue on I-70 West, between the Lewisburg and Orangeburg Road overpasses, from 9 p.m. each night to 10 a.m. the following day.

Sunday-Tuesday, June 19-21: Closure of the ramp from U.S. 35 West to I-70 West, from 9 p.m. each night to 10 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured by way of Ohio 320 and U.S. 40 to I-70.

Wednesday-Friday, June 22-24: Closure of the ramp from I-70 East to U.S. 35, nightly from 9 p.m. each night to 10:45 a.m. the following day. Motorists will be detoured via I-70 and U.S. 127.

Thursday-Saturday, June 23-25: Closure of the rest area exit and entrance ramps on I-70 East, from 9 p.m. each night to 10:45 a.m. the following day.

Traffic on I-70 will be maintained through the various work zones, and motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution. All work will be contingent upon the weather.
