CAMDEN — The regularly scheduled Camden Village Council meeting for Thursday, June 16, was postponed to Thursday, June 23. However, due to the inability to establish a quorum, the business meeting on Thursday, June 23, was canceled.

Those members of council who were present on June 23 heard briefly from a representative of the Friends of the Preble County Park District, who informed council of a trailhead opening at Wagers Park, also known as the Devil’s Backbone. The park will have a one-mile trail and a half mile trail, which will open to the public in the near future, according to the Friends of the Preble County Park District. Wagers Park is located outside of Camden along Ohio 725.

Camden Village Council meetings are public meetings held on the first and third Thursday of each month, at 7 p.m. at Camden Town Hall.
