PREBLE COUNTY — A bridge rehabilitation project has been scheduled on Ohio 122 in Preble County, and a full road closure will be in place beginning next week.

On Tuesday, July 5, crews working for the Ohio Department of Transportation closed Ohio 122 between the west corporate limit of the village of Gratis and Ray Road to rehab the bridge over a tributary of Aukerman Creek at the 17.69-mile marker.

During closure, traffic will be detoured via Ohio 122, U.S. 35 and Ohio 503. The local detour will use Ohio 503 to Ray Road to Ohio 122. The closure will remain in place until Aug. 4.

BCC Ohio, Inc. was awarded the $1.3 million contract, and all work is scheduled to be complete in late-fall 2022.
