PREBLE COUNTY — Preble and Montgomery Soil & Water Conservation Districts are sponsoring a free pond clinic Tuesday, June 7, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Golden Gate Park located at 10900 Upper Lewisburg Salem Road, Brookville.

A picnic-style meal, sponsored by Brubaker Grain and Chemical, will be provided, followed by the program. Eugene Braig from The Ohio State University will speak on harmful algal blooms, and Matt Zehringer with The Lake Doctors will discuss the Zika virus and mosquito control. Shawn Murphy with Michael Murphy Insurance and Scott Elliot from Sanco Industries will be present as well. This free, family friendly event is open to everyone and will be held rain or shine.
