Dr. Eva Howard recognized

EATON — On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities recognized Dr. Eva Howard for her faithful service on the PCBDD Board for the past 13 years.

Ten of Dr. Howard’s years of service were served as the PCBDD Board President.

Dr. Howard is the guardian of her adult sister who receives services through Preble County.

“Dr. Howard has shared wisdom and insight that has been invaluable to our agency, our staff, and the roughly 460 people we serve. Dr. Howard has helped guide PCBDD through the many changes and challenges which have occurred over the years, and we are indebted to her for her time, expertise and service,” DD officials said in a press release.

On Nov. 17, Dr. Howard was honored with a commendation from the State of Ohio for her years of service, which was presented by Judge Jenifer Overmyer. Judge Overmyer appointed Dr. Howard to the PCBDD Board 13 years ago.

Dr. Howard was also presented a proclamation from Preble County Commissioner Adam Craft and Preble County Commissioner Rachael Vonderhaar, for her years on the board and for her years of service to the individuals served by the Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
