West Alexandria Police Division reported the following recent reports filed:

JULY 15

  • Suspicious four door silver car was reported for putting something in residents’ mailboxes on Michael Avenue at 6:20 a.m. The vehicle was not located.

Camden Police Division reported the following reports filed:

JULY 9

  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Shawnee concession stand at 12:04 a.m. The individuals were part of the staff carrying in supplies
  • Two vehicles were involved in an accident at the BP Gas Station at 201 W. Central at 7:01 a.m. There was minimal damage and no injuries occurred.
  • Officers recovered stolen property from a pawn shop in Richmond, Indiana, at 1 p.m. Two males, William Paulin and Jacob Tressler, were arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and housed at the Preble County Jail.
  • A suspicious male at the 100 block of S. Liberty was reported at 7:13 p.m. The police made contact with the male and reported that he was working for the electric company.

JULY 14

  • Camden Police were called to Quail Creek at 2:30 p.m. to check on the welfare of three large dogs. Officer reported the dogs appear healthy and with water and food.

Preble County Sheriff reported the following reports filed:

July 10

• At 6:22 a.m. a crash was reported at the intersection of Ohio 122 and Lantis Greeting Road. The crash involved two cars with one on its side, no injuries were reported.

• At 4:42 p.m. property damage was reported in the 700 block of Ohio 503 South at the intersection of Black Road in West Alexandria.

July 11

• A crash was reported at 4:08 a.m. in the 2000 block of U.S. 35 West at the intersection of Washington Jackson Road and Eaton-New Hope Road.

• At 10:45 a.m. Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria reported property damage; resident claimed a four-wheeler damaged his property and fence.

• At 1:38 p.m. a theft was reported in the 2000 block of Enterprise road in West Alexandria. Resident said a gun was stolen from his house during a party his daughter hosted over the weekend while he was out of town.

• At 2:23 p.m. a burglary was reported in the 4000 block of Fisher Twin in West Alexandria. Resident reported his barn was broken into and a four-wheeler was stolen.

July 12

• At 5:58 p.m. a burglary was reported in the 7000 block of Junction Road in College Corner. Resident reported a family member had forced his way into the residence.

• At 2:01 a.m. an assault was reported in the 700 block of East Decatur Street.

• At 7:28 a.m. criminal mischief or damaging was reported in the 200 block of East Main Street.

• At 9:49 a.m. a theft was reported at the Eagle Trace Apartments.

• At 8:05 p.m. a drug offense was reported in 100 block of North Barron Street.

July 7

• At 9 a.m. criminal mischief and damaging was reported in the 700 block of Park Avenue.

• At 12:05 p.m. a theft was reported in the 400 block of Jamesway Drive.

• At 5:42 p.m. a theft was reported in the 400 block of Jamesway Drive.

• At 6:41 an arrest was made for a theft at Wal-Mart.

• At 8:35 a.m. a theft was reported at Neaton Auto Products

• At 2:14 fraud or forgery was reported in the 800 block of North Barron Street.

• At 5:27 p.m. a theft was reported at 5:27 p.m. in the 100 block of East Somers Street.

July 9

• At 12:19 a.m. criminal mischief or damaging was reported in the 500 block of East Lexington Avenue.

• At 12:23 a.m. a theft was reported at Wal-Mart.

• At 3:38 p.m. a theft was reported in the 100 block of South Maple Street

• At 6:03 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported at Rodney Cobb Chevrolet

• At 8:12 p.m., an arrest was for theft in the 200 block of East Somers Street.

• At 9:59 a.m. a drug offense was reported in the 800 block of East Decatur Street.

• At 8:21 a.m. a theft was reported in the 200 block of Deem Street.

• At 10:10 a.m. fraud or forgery was reported at Kroger.

• At 12:24 p.m. fraud or forgery was reported in the 800 block of Judy Avenue.

• At 2:56 a.m. a theft was reported in the 100 block of Vine Street.

• At 7 p.m. an arrest was made for a theft at Marsh Supermarkets
