PREBLE COUNTY — Parker Hannifin, Lewisburg, will host a Community Blood Center blood drive Friday, Oct. 14, from 1-4 p.m. The CBC Bloodmobile will be at 700 W. Cumberland Ohion 40 in the village.

The Camden community will then sponsor a CBC blood drive on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The CBC Bloodmobile will be at First Financial Bank, 4 South Main St., in the village.

The “Buckeye Strong Blood Donor” ceramic coffee tumbler is a gift for everyone who registers to donate. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or call 1-800-388-GIVE.

CBC is celebrating the fall season and college football with the “Buckeye Strong Blood Donor” ceramic tumbler with removable silicone grip. It’s free to anyone who registers to donate Monday, Oct. 10-Saturday, Dec. 3, at any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives.

Blood donation requirements: Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically. Individuals with eligibility questions are invited to email [email protected] or call 1(800)388-GIVE.
