Coterie Holiday Craft Auction

Coterie of West Alexandria will hold their annual Holiday Craft Auction Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 322 on Ohio 503 S. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and bidding starts at 2 p.m. Free Door prizes are donated by area businesses. Proceeds help those in need from our community and our annual scholarships.

TVS Veterans Day Program

Everyone is invited to attend the Twin Valley South Veterans Day Program. Come appreciate our veterans Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the High School Gymnasium at 100 Education Drive.

Quarter Event

The TVS Band Boosters will be holding a Quarter Event Friday, Nov. 4, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Twin Valley South Commons. This event will help the band raise money for their upcoming Disney Trip. Come enjoy a wonderful evening winning great prizes with friends, while helping support our local youth. Vendors at the event include 31, Plunder, WeBeStuffin, Origami Owl, Lularoe, Clever Container, Tastefully Simple, Tyra Beauty, Pink Zebra, Mary Kay and more!

The Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club

The Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club is sponsoring its 34 year annual Turkey Shoot each Sunday through November at 1p.m. This event is open to everyone and we hope to see a nice crowd. This is our main fundraiser each year. Come on out and win turkeys, hams, bacon and packages of mixed kinds of meat. Money shoots are also held.

The Venison for Food Banks of Preble County program is on-going. Anyone who takes a deer can donate all or part of the meat for the Foodbanks. We have sponsors who will take care of the processing fees. You may contact Brad Turner, Preble County Game Warden, or Curtis Early at 937-533-3226.

Annual Turkey Supper

West Alexandria Church of the Brethren is having their Annual Turkey Supper Saturday, Nov. 12, from 4:30 – 7 p.m. at 22 East Oak Street. Costs are: Adults $8, Children $3.50, Children under 3 years old are FREE. Carry Out Available, elevator accessible for Dine-In. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Sr. Citizens Breakfast BINGO

The Sr. Citizens Breakfast BINGO, sponsored by the LYO, will be Saturday, Nov. 5. in the Fellowship Hall at Salem Lutheran Church, 70 E. Dayton Street. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and BINGO starts at 9:15 a.m. Reservations are required. To register, call Lindsay Watson at 937-733-6560 or call the church office at 839-4210.

Salem Lutheran

The Social Outings of Salem will have a progressive dinner Saturday, Nov. 5. For additional information, contact Diana Wall at 839-5326.

The Jr. Lutherans program meets Wednesdays with a meal at 6 p.m. and program from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Children in Preschool through sixth grade are welcome to be a part of our Jr. Lutheran program.

Junior Choir practices upstairs every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m.

Our Haiti Mission Trip consists of possibly twelve people going from Salem to Haiti in February to help construct a house. We will need funds to purchase materials for building the house. The cost for each person to travel is $1350. You can be a part of this by contributing donations. Checks should be made out to Salem Lutheran Church with HAITI written in the memo portion of your check.

LYO will host a Youth BINGO and Bible Study Saturday, Nov. 19 in the Fellowship Hall from 7-9p.m. Dinner will be provided; bring your friends!

Coups for Troops collects unwanted grocery coupons, up to two months expired, for troops overseas to use in the Commissaries. There is a basket located in the Church Library.
