Eaton school taking Hasbro challenge

EATON — Eaton Middle School is partnering with generationOn for “The Joy Maker Challenge,” which connects youth ages 5-18 to meaningful, hands-on service projects during the holiday season.

For each kid or teen who participates, Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots, up to $1 million worth of toys.

Participation is free and easy.

•Visit generationon.org/joymaker to sign up and find volunteer project ideas and lesson plans

•Complete a service project between Nov. 21-Dec. 23.

•Share the story of one’s service for a chance to win grants and generationOn gear.

As @Hasbro Joy Maker Challenge Ambassadors, EMS will be receiving 100 Hasbro toys to donate. The school hopes to spread this out between Jacob’s Ladder, Domestic Violence Shelter, Christmas for Kids and Dayton Children’s Hospital.

As a school, the group will be hosting a toy drive from Nov. 14-Dec. 5, to help increase the impact they can have in the Preble County community.
