PREBLE COUNTY — Preble County dog licenses go on sale Dec. 1, through Jan. 31, 2017, at the Auditor’s Office and at various locations around Preble County.

A one-year license is $14 per dog. Kennel license is $70 with five tags, and can only be purchased at the Auditor’s Office or by mail. Three-year dog license is $42 per dog, and can only be purchased at the Auditor’s Office or by mail. Permanent dog license is $140 per dog, and can only be purchased at the Auditor’s Office or by mail.

Licenses purchased after Jan. 31, 2017 can only be purchased at the Auditor’s Office or by mail. They will be considered late and will be subject to a penalty.

Licenses can be purchased at the Preble County Auditor’s Office, in the second floor of the courthouse, any weekday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

One-year dog licenses can be purchased at the following businesses. These businesses may charge a preparation fee of up to 75 cents per application: 1st Financial Bank – Camden; Bath State Bank – College Comer; Brubaker Grain – Eaton; Dog Warden – Eaton; Lakengren POA – Lakengren Office – Eaton; Preble County License Bureau – Eaton; Somerville National Bank – (South branch) – Eaton; Town & Country Vet Clinic – Eaton; Harvest Land Co-op – Eldorado; Twin Valley Bank – Gratis; Farmer’s State Bank – Lewisburg; LCNB – Lewisburg; Price’s Creek Vet Clinic – Lewisburg; Farmer’s State Bank – New Paris; LCNB – New Paris; Somerville National Bank – Somerville; LCNB – West Alexandria; Twin Valley Bank – West Alexandria; Twin Valley Animal Hospital – West Alexandria; United Midwest Savings – West Manchester.
