Somers Super Beef kicks summer

SOMERS TOWNSHIP — School is out and Somers Super Beef 4-H Club is off to a great start. Seventy-four members have been busy selecting and caring for their 2019 4-H projects. Projects focus mainly on livestock which will be presented at the upcoming Preble County Fair.

The club’s members can participate in meetings, livestock clinics, livestock shows, 4-H camp, and complete project/record books. The club hosted a car wash Saturday, June 15 at Camden BP.

Somers Super Beef 4-H Club is led by Gayle George, advisor for 41 years. The club’s officers are Carley Asher – president, Zach Cottingim – vice president, Mackenzie Neal – secretary, Carlyn George – treasurer, Audra Burger & RJ Brumbaugh – health & safety/recreation, and Zack Miller – reporter.
