NEW PARIS — In March, the National Trail MVCTC has many things going on.

This month, the wildlife, livestock, equine, and meat judging teams have been busy at work studying for competitions. On Friday March 11, the Meat and Wildlife Team traveled to Zanesville, for the Southeast Invitational. The meat judging team placed 5th out of eight teams. Suzanne Kimball placed 7th overall highest. The wildlife team placed 14th out of 24 teams. On Saturday March 12, the livestock and equine teams traveled to Washington Courthouse, for the Miami Trace Invitational. The equine team placed 5th out of 62 teams.

On March 14, the National Trail MVCTC FFA chapter elected new officers and committee chairs for the 2016-2017 school year: President, Weston Haws; vice president, Erika Gallaher; secretary, Casey Thompson; treasurer, Holly Lawson; reporter, Cierra Rinehart; student advisor, Tyler Glander;and sentinel Katie Buehner.

Committee chairs include Kelsey Matheny, Andrew Willet, and Calista Kisling.

The NTFFA encourages any FFA members as well as community members to attend their events and help make a difference in the community.
