COLUMBUS — Eaton junior Sarah Willis is OHSAA Division II State golf champion!

The state match, which began yesterday, Friday, Oct. 14, at the Ohio State University Golf Course, just wrapped up today. Willis beat the state record score by three shots.

A congratulatory caravan is being assembled to welcome the champ back to Eaton this evening. Anyone wishing to participate is asked to meet at the Pilot truck stop located at U.S. 127 and Interstate 70.

National Trail freshman Makenna Jones placed ninth, and was named second team All-Ohio.
