Sphinx Senior Honorary

Ryan Lee Vonderhaar was inducted into the 111th class of Sphinx Senior Honorary at The Ohio State University on April 7. Vonderhaar is the son of Alan and Rachael Vonderhaar of Camden. Vonderhaar is working toward his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication.

The objectives of Sphinx are to recognize and honor no more than 24 students who, by the end of the Junior Year, have attained success in various fields of endeavor, particularly leadership, scholarship and service, and to create a bond of fellowship in which each individual will use his or her attainments to enhance and promote the best interests of the University. Sphinx was founded at The Ohio State University in 1907 and is the oldest honor society on campus.

Elizabeth Stout Parker Scholarships

The Eaton Foundation met on April 5, for its annual meeting and scholarship selections. Two $1,500 scholarships were awarded this year to Eaton High School seniors as designated by the funded scholarship agreement of Elizabeth Stout Parker and maintained by the Foundation. This year’s recipients are Izabelle Black and Daniel Howard.
