Maria Kern

ASHLAND — Maria Kern of Eaton, is a member of Ashland University’s Beta Beta Beta. Kern is majoring in forensic biology. She is a 2016 graduate of Eaton High School. Beta Beta Beta is an honor society for undergraduate students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. She has also been selected as a member of Ashland University’s Honors Society. The Honors Society is a student-run organization that plans a variety of social, educational and service events for Honors Program students, thereby strengthening the learning community by building friendships outside the classroom. Along with Beta Beta Beta and the Honors Society, sje was also named to the fall 2017 Dean’s List at the university.

Cedarville University Dean’s Honor List

CEDARVILLE — Cedarville University recently named Arielle Feustel of Lewisburg, and Cassidy Koewler of Brookville to the university’s Dean’s Honor List

Urmil Patel

AKRON — With much hard work and determination, Urmil Patel of Lewisburg recently graduated from The University of Akron. In all, the 1,259 candidates from 23 states and 25 countries earned 44 doctoral degrees; 22 juris doctor degrees; 243 master’s degrees; 817 bachelor’s degrees; and 136 associate degrees. Patel successfully completed the program requirements earning the degree Master of Business Admin. Business Interdisciplinary.

Jacob Liddy

AKRON — Jacob Liddy of Eaton, was named to The University of Akron’s fall 2017 Dean’s List. To be eligible, Liddy, who is majoring in mathematics, maintained a semester GPA of 3.500-3.999, and was enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.

Jenna Vance

BOURBONNAIS, ILLINOIS — Jenna Vance of Brookville was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed fall 2017 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Rachel Ball

OXFORD — Miami University student Rachel Ball spent the fall 2017 semester in Italy as part of a study abroad group. Ball, from Camden is majoring in Interior Design.

Fall Dean’s List at Wittenberg University

SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. The following students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2017 Fall semester and earned a place on the Dean’s List: Kelsey Gregory of Eaton; Allyson Masterson of Arcanum; Elizabeth Tolliver of Eaton; Cameron Willis of Eaton and Keenan Wilson of Eaton.

Bradley Curry

PAINESVILLE — Lake Erie College recently announced Bradley Curry, of Eaton, has been named to the Fall 2017 Dean’s List. Any degree-seeking student who has earned at least nine semester hours of credits at the college during a single academic term and achieved a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher in a given semester is recognized as a Dean’s List student for that semester.
