She was elected to serve as a SkillsUSA Chapter 1 Officer, Student Leadership Council representative, and was recently tapped to be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society Class of 2020.

Baker also earned her Certified Ohio Dental Assisting (CODA) license this school year and is now working as part of the MVCTC Work-Based Learning Advanced Placement program for Dayton Dental Solutions as a Dental Assistant. “MVCTC has done so much for me. To start with, the teachers here have provided me the opportunity to enjoy school while getting a good education. I also have met tons of new people and met my wonderful lab instructor. I also have been given many after school options, including my advanced placement position, becoming a CODA, and leaning many new opportunity I have after I graduate. I am very thankful for what MVCTC has given me,” Baker said.
