This July, I was honored to be sworn in as the state representative of the 43rd Ohio House District. It was a true privilege to step in to fill the remaining term of my predecessor, Jeff Rezabek, who now serves as Judge of the juvenile division of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

I am eager to help serve you and your loved ones to the best of my ability. As a pastor in the area for more than 21 years, I have the unique experience to connect directly and honestly with our community. I am also on the Valley View School District Security Committee, which gives me special insight into the topic of school violence and allows me to be informed and involved in school activities.

I am most looking forward to the ways my new role will enable me to become even more involved in the community and make a direct impact on the lives of residents in the district. My office can help you with a variety of needs, which in turn helps me better understand the issues Ohioans are facing on a daily basis.

First, my office can help you navigate state agencies. From the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to the Department of Health, we can help you get into contact with the right person to assist with problems you are experiencing that the state can rectify. I am also more than happy to help arrange tours of the Ohio Statehouse for schools groups from the district. If scheduling permits, I’ll also meet with the groups and provide a little insight into the inner workings of the state legislature.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I encourage you to reach out to my office with your thoughts and ideas on state policies. This helps me learn about different perspectives on the same issue and about what matters to you the most. At the end of the day, your input helps inform my decisions as I vote on important bills that may become state law.
