Preble Shawnee School District residents are invited to a meeting to receive bond issue/income tax details from our group that, until this time, have not been openly discussed before the public.

(This is not a meeting of the Preble Shawnee Local Schools Board of Education.)

Information will be presented to show that the district’s proposed two new schools project, which would indebt area residents for 37 years, may not be the best means to build a healthy future for Preble Shawnee students and district families; nor is it the only means.

The information to be presented may cast doubt on the advisability of the proposed building project, and alternative solutions to district deficiencies will be addressed. Questions from the public will be welcomed after the presentation.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, at the Preble Shawnee School Board Office, 124 Bloomfield Street in Camden.
