The weekend of the Eaton “Sam Ridder” Wrestling Invitational was Friday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 27. This was the 48th year of this invitational’s existence, making it one of the longest-running tournaments in this area.

There were 22 teams in attendance. At this tournament, the concession stand and the hospitality room is very well known

for all that is provided. Therefore, the wrestling parents and coaches would like to thank the following local businesses for their generous support: Acclaim Awards, Boxcar Bakery, Buffalo Wild Wing of Richmond, Ind., Jim Bowman (Buns & Snack Cakes), Key Printing, Kroger’s Supermarket, Papa John’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Steiner’s Country Market, Walmart, and Wings, Etc.

Also, another huge thank you goes out to all the parents, students and community members who volunteered their time to work the concession stand, hospitality room, ticket takers, bull pen, announcing and score tables. The success of this tournament could not have been made possible without all of those people.
