Editor:

Rachael Vonderhaar is a breath of fresh air running for Preble County Commissioner. I’ve known Rachael for the past three years as she has dedicated her time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate by being the voice of Preble County children in the Juvenile Justice System who have been abused or neglected. Rachael advocates for the children’s best interest.

In addition to her CASA volunteerism, Rachael is actively involved in numerous agriculture endeavors, including 4-H, FFA, Farm Bureau, and Ohio Agri-Women, serving as the treasurer or legislative officer in many of these organizations. Rachael is also actively involved in the business of farming.

Rachael’s platform focuses on bringing transparency and efficiency to the Preble County Commission Office. I believe she has the experience and financial savvy to bring money into Preble County, recognizing windows of opportunities, whether business opportunities or grant opportunities, to further the interest of Preble County.

I urge you to vote for Rachael Vonderhaar for Preble County Commissioner in the upcoming Republican Primary race by absentee ballot. You may request an absentee ballot by visiting www.voteohio.gov. Absentee ballots must be requested by April 25 and postmarked by April 27. Absentee ballots may also be dropped off at the Board of Elections on April 28. Visit www.votevonderhaar.com to thoroughly explore Rachael’s background and extensive experience.
