After the completion of the Preble County Art Association’s building in 1985, the Board of Trustees wanted to honor the members that volunteered countless hours to create a space for the arts. This was done by inducting Honorary Lifetime Members into the membership of the PCAA. Over the years we have lost several of those members and we regret to share that another has passed.

Sadly, Honorary Lifetime Member Betty McKnight passed away on April 1. Betty was an active member of the organization, serving in various board capacities over the years, including as President. She was an active volunteer, taught art classes and provided artwork for PCAA fundraising calendars. She was a dedicated member of the organization and our community, she will be missed.

Our current lifetime members include Joyce Young, Nora Henning, Sharel Ouellet, Vicki Rader, Lila Mason, Nan Petty, and John & Pat Clark. Cindy Mitchell was inducted as a lifetime member in November of 2015 for her 25 years of service as the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.
