To the people who drive through New Paris — Since my letter appeared recently regarding the stop signs at Main and Water Streets in New Paris, I have to say that I am officially impressed!

There has been a significant reduction in the number of people who were routinely running these stop signs.

Thank you drivers for doing the right thing.

But we have not hit perfection yet. There are still a few who just blow by the signs. In fact, one just went by, a small red car with a loud muffler, that then turned on Ohio 121 heading toward Richmond!

Keep up the good work, those of you who have decided to obey traffic signs and help to keep the kids in this neighborhood safe!
