Twin Valley South’s boys’ soccer team improved to 2-1 on the year with a 3-1 win over Union County (Indiana) on Thursday, Aug. 24. The defense held Union County scoreless for most of the game as goalie Jacob Denlinger had 17 saves for the Panthers. The Marker brothers — Bryant and Brayden — scored a goal a piece and Aaron Clark scored as well. Bryant Marker and Jacob Wells had assists on two of the goals. The Panthers were scheduled to play Carlisle on Saturday before heading into league play. South is scheduled to host Miami East on Thursday, Aug. 31 and will travel to Dixie on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
