CAMDEN — The Preble Shawnee golf team split a pair of matches on the week as the team defeated Northridge and fell to Monroe.
On Thursday, Sept 3, the team hosted Northridge at the Liberty Country Club, winning with a score of 209 to 264, giving the Arrows a league victory.
Kyle Fryer led all scorers with a 41 and was followed up by Johnny Cottingim’s 49, and Colton Pugh’s 55. Michael Fritts shot a 64 while Craig Doty shot a 67.
On Tuesday, Sept. 2, the team traveled to the Weatherwax golf course to take on Monroe.
Monroe defeated the Arrows by a score of 176-203. Amit Pattel of Monroe shot the lowest round of the day with a 41, followed by Sammi Blackburn who shot a 42. Fryer led the Arrows by shooting a 43 on the day.
Pugh also had a good day on the course, shooting a 47. Fritts shot a 56 , Cottingim shot a 57 and Doty finished with a 61.
