Boys soccer

Eaton boys got their first conference win on the season, defeating Franklin 2-1 on the road on Tuesday, Oct. 13. They then lost 10-0 to Bellbrook on Thursday, Oct. 15 to close out the regular season. The Eagles were scheduled to host Franklin on Tuesday, Oct. 20 for the first round of the post-season.

Preble Shawnee closed out their regular season with a win, upending Milton-Union 1-0 on Thursday, Oct. 15. They also traveled to Middletown Madison earlier in the week, losing 5-0.

Twin Valley South ended the season with a 6-0 loss to Miami East. They will take on Yellow Springs in the opening round of the post-season on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m.

Girls soccer

The Eaton girls closed out the year on a rough three game losing streak. They took on both Franklin and Bellbrook on the road this week, losing 4-0 and 7-1, respectively. Jessica Spitler scored the Eagles lone goal against Bellbrook. They were scheduled to travel to Chaminade Julienne for the first round of the post-season on Monday, Oct. 19.

Preble Shawnee finished the year second in the SWBL and will end on a three game winning streak. After beating Troy Christian on Oct. 3, they took down Middletown Madison 7-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 13 and Milton-Union 2-0 on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Tri-County North lost 2-0 to Twin Valley South on Monday, Oct. 12 before getting a big win over Franklin Monroe on Thursday, Oct. 15. The Panthers won 3-1, getting two goals from Hailey Thies and one from Paige Daugherty. Assist were by Megan Hemp, Kaylah Keener, and Thies.
