“It was a good meet for the new kids to be able to get in and see that swimming in a meet is not that bad and once they are in the water, it becomes even easier to swim the event,” said head swim coach Dave Montgomery. “A lot of the returning swimmers started where they left off from last season with their times. On the girls side, this is the largest team we have had since I have been involved with the program which has been six years and right now we have 14 girls swimming. We now have some depth so the girl teams can start winning a few more of the dual meets.”
