Softball/baseball camp

The Hall of Gold Academy Softball and Baseball Camp will host a one-day camp for softball and baseball players ages 7-15 years old on Monday, July 8, at the softball fields in Eaton, 290 W. Lexington Road. Cates Cages will be running the camp. Camp will run from 9 a.m.-2:45 p.m., with lunch provided by EGSA from noon-12:30 p.m. Cost is$10 for Preble County youth, $35 for out-of-county residents. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Instructors will include Julie Smith, U.S. Olympic gold medal player; John Cate, a member of the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame and current college players. Annual Youth Night

Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club will be hosting its Annual Youth Night on Tuesday, July 17, from 6-8 p.m. at 9361 Germantown Pike, West Alexandria. All youth 17 years of age and younger are invited for supervised archery, bait casting, and rifle/air-rifle and shotgun shooting. Refreshments will be served.

NT seeking coaches

The National Trail Local Schools has the following positions open in the athletic department: 8th grade girls basketball coach, 7th grade girls basketball coach and 7th grade volleyball coach.
