EATON — Eaton’s girls soccer team scored a late goal to hand visiting Preble Shawnee a 2-1 setback on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Senior Isabella Trader scored the game-winner with about 3 minutes left on an assist from Amyah Thacker for the Eagles. Eaton also played to a 1-1 tie with Brookville last week. Eaton (3-5-1) was scheduled to host Bellbrook on Tuesday and Franklin on Thursday. Shawnee (5-4) beat Dixie 4-1 and lost to Troy Christian 1-0 last week. The Arrows were scheduled to host Milton-Union on Tuesday and Madison on Thursday. They will close out the week with a trip to Tri-County North on Saturday for a 1 p.m. match.
