PREBLE COUNTY — The OHSAA has released brackets for the Division I, II, III and IV girls sectional basketball tournaments. All team and conference records are as of Thursday, Feb. 4.
Division II
Mason 2 – Sectional/District: No. 4 Eaton (7-13, 3-9 Southwestern Buckeye League) will compete against No. 11 Bellfontaine (3-14, 3-5 Central Buckeye Conference) on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at Tecumseh High School. The winner will go on to face No. 7 St. Paris Graham Local (9-11, 5-5 CBC) on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Tecumseh High School.
The Eagles have one game remaining in the regular season against Edgewood on Feb. 8.
Division III
Springfield 3 – Sectional/District: No. 9 National Trail (9-7, 5-5 Cross County Conference) will compete against No. 12 Milton-Union (7-10, 4-7 SWBL) on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. at Northridge High School. The winner will go on to face No. 4 Carlisle (12-8, 8-4 SWBL) on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Northridge High School.
The Blazers have games remaining in the regular season against Yellow Springs on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Tri-County North on Feb. 11.
Springfield 3 – Sectional/District: No. 5 Preble Shawnee (9-9, 7-3 SWBL) will compete against No. 7 Bethel (12-5, 7-3 CCC) on Saturday, Feb. 13 following the conclusion of National Trail and Milton-Union at Northridge High School. The winner will go on to face No. 6 Versailles (6-12, 2-6 Midwest Athletic Conference) on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. at Northridge High School.
The Arrows have games remaining in the regular season against Mississinawa Valley on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Middletown Madison on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Springfield 1 – Sectional/District: No. 17 Twin Valley South (4-14, 1-9 CCC) will compete against No. 2 Arcanum (15-4, 8-2 CCC) on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. at Covington High School. The winner will go on to face the winner of No. 11 Indian Lake (9-7, 5-4 CBC) and No. 13 Dixie (7-12, 2-8 SWBL) on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. at Covington High School.
The Panthers have one game remaining in the regular season against Dayton Christian on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Division IV
Troy 1 – Sectional/District: No. 11 Tri-County North (1-17, 0-9 CCC) will face the winner of No. 1 Tri-Village (15-2, 10-0 CCC) and No. 10 Dayton Christian (8-8, 2-4 Metro Buckeye Conference) on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. at Brookville High School.
North has games remaining in the regular season against Milton-Union on Feb. 8 and National Trail on Feb. 11.
Brackets for the Division I, II, III and IV boys sectional basketball tournaments will be released on Sunday, Feb. 7.
