CARLISLE — Preble Shawnee’s golf team dropped a pair of matches last week, losing 178-217 to Madison on Tuesday, Aug. 23, and losing to Carlisle 173-235, on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

On Tuesday, Aug. 23, the Arrows hosted the Madison Mohawks in a Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division match-up. Medalist for Madison was Alex Smith with a 43, while the low medalist for Preble Shawnee was Michael Fritts with a 48.

Other scored for Preble Shawnee include Luke Woodard with a 52; Craig Doty, 63; Jarod Barnes, 63; Dakota Keeler, 64 and Jordan Dobbins, 69.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, Shawnee played in the league match against Carlisle at the Jamaica Run Golf Course. Low medalist for Carlisle was Jake Glover, 40, while low medalist for Preble Shawnee was Fritts with a 46.

Other Shawnee scores include Woodard, 55; Doty, 62 and Barnes, 72.

Preble Shawnee will next compete on Thursday, Sep. 1, against Dixie, at the Liberty Country Club.
