EHS car wash

The Eaton girls basketball team will be holding a car wash on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Marathon Station located on 400 South Barron Street in Eaton. Pre-sale tickets for the car wash are available from any girl planning on participating in the girls basketball program. The public is invited to come out and support the Lady Eagles.

TVS to honor football teams

The Twin Valley Community Schools in coordination with the Twin Valley South Athletic Department will honor two past football teams: the 1976 Wayne Trace League Champs and the 1981 Cross County Conference Champs, on Friday Sept. 16, at 7 p.m., prior to the kick-off of the current football team’s game versus Ansonia. All players and coaches of those teams are asked to contact TVS Assistant Athletic Director Glen Mabry if attending. Hunter’s Education Course Offered

A home-study course for Ohio residents and proficiency testing for Ohio residents 18 and under will be offered on Sept. 17, at the Twin Valley Rod & Gun Club. The course will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Hunter Education is a vital part of becoming an Ohio hunter. All first-time hunting license buyers, except for apprentice license buyers, must successfully complete a hunter’s education course before purchasing a license. Piranhas Swim Team

The Piranhas swim club began the fall season of swimming on Monday, Sep.6. Practices begin at 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Participants may choose the number of days they wish to practice. The team will compete in two to three meets per month, and attendance is not required. There is a two-week test trial to see where a swimmer will compete — there are no tryouts.
