ARCANUM — While Nathan Osborn advanced as an individual to the district tournament, the remainder of the Twin Valley South golf team saw its season come to an end on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Division III sectionals at Beechwood Golf Course.

“Other than Nathan, all the other members of our team are now done for the year,” said TVS coach Darcy Robinson. “We had a good year, especially since four of our six players were brand new to the game. We saw great strides of improvement from all of our players, and I’m anxiously awaiting the opportunity to start up again next summer.”

Osborn finished the event tied for fourth place with an 81, but was considered in second place from the field of players whose teams did not qualify for districts. Sophomore Willie Bowman finished tied in 30th with a 95. Sophomore Chance Parks and freshman Cole Peterson finished with a 106 and 111 respectively. South finished in 10th place with a team score of 393.

Osborn will compete on Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Southwest District tournament at Beavercreek Golf Course, alongside National Trail and Tri-County North.
