EATON — Eaton’s girls soccer team lost to Valley View, 4-0, on Thursday, Oct. 6, in its final home game of the season and the final home contest for the seniors.

Valley View jumped out early to a 2-0 lead 15 minutes into the game. The Eagles had several scoring opportunities, including seven corner kicks. They just couldn’t connect for any goals.

Valley View added one more goal before the half. Eaton had more chances in the second half, with a couple more corners and breakaway shots finding the post, but failing to sink into the net.

Valley View added their fourth goal late in the contest for the 4-0 win.

The Eagles were scheduled to close out the regular season this week with a pair of away contests.

They were scheduled to play at Franklin on Tuesday, Oct. 11 and at Bellbrook on Thursday.
