MILFORD TOWNSHIP — Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Officials also recovered a stolen motor bike that belongs to a separate victim, Jones said in a press release.

The search warrant was executed at 4025 Darrtown Road in Milford Township. During the execution of the search warrant, deputies discovered the remnants of a methamphetamine lab.

David M. Hoelle, a 43-year-old male from Darrtown. admitted to the meth lab and possession of the stolen items. Hoelle was charged with manufacturing illegal drugs, assembly of chemicals, and receiving stolen property, all felony charges. Christopher Lake, a 45-year-old male from Darrtown, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a felony of the 5th degree. Additional charges may be presented to the Butler County grand jury.

“My guys received investigative information about the stolen property and acted swiftly to recover it. The discovery of the meth lab, in this case, is just an added bonus for the good guys,” Jones said. “I’m proud of these deputies and how fast they acted getting this property back and the drugs off the streets.”

The property will be returned to Miami University and the victim as soon as possible, Jones said.
